Community Conversations: The Voices for Health Care Community Conversations allow even more Americans to get involved in the conversation and make their voices heard. In these conversations, members of the community - leaders, advocates, or concerned citizens - use a specially designed kit to conduct a structured two-hour dialogue about the future of health care in their state.
These small, informal meetings can involve neighbors, church groups, civic organizations or any other group of interested citizens. The focus is on finding practical solutions that will improve people’s health in the state and address rising costs. The results of these conversations are compiled and the conclusions will be reported to political leaders and legislators in each state, as well as business leaders, the media and the public.
